INGREDIENTS
¼ cup butter
¼ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¾ cup flour
¼ cup chocolate chips
Choc chips for decorations
Icing sugar and water for making the cross on top of cookies
TOOLS NEEDED
Large bowl
Small bowl
Sieve
Wooden spoon
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Piping bag
Baking paper

OVEN: 180 Deg
Cooking time: 10 Min
METHOD
Set the oven at 180 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix the butter and both sugars with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Crack an egg into the mixture and mix in well until nice and creamy.
Add vanilla essence and mix well.
Sift flour and add cinnamon and baking powder into the mixture and mix everything together.
Put baking paper onto your baking tray and divide your batter into 6 even balls using your spoon. Spread them apart and press them down
slightly.
Add your choc chips to each cookie to decorate.
Bake for 9-10 minutes in the oven until the edges are turning brown but the centre is still soft.
In a small bowl mix ½ cup of icing sugar and 1 tablespoon of water to make a paste. Pour in a piping bag.
Allow your cookies to cool then, make a cross on top of your cookies so they look like hot cross buns.
